Car hire Galway. Book with Irish Car Rentals for low cost car rental in Galway.
Irish Car Rentals offers cheap car hire in Galway City Centre with a comprehensive selection of vehicles available to rent. With our low prices, you can budget for your car hire and choose from a wide fleet to meet your requirements.
Galway's Car rental depot is operated through Europcar and is located at the Motorpark, which lies on Headford Road near its intersection with the N6. This is roughly halfway between the city centre and the airport, which can be reached by Car in about ten minutes. The city centre lies another five minutes to the south.
Galway is a popular travel destination in and of itself, and it also serves as a base for those who want to explore the coastal towns and countryside across western Ireland. With a vehicle at your disposal, you can easily go from Galway city proper to spectacular sites in the countryside, driving through Connemara and exploring the Cliffs of Moher without having to jockey with caravans of tour buses.
Should your travel plans require as much, you have the option to return your car hire to any of our large network of nationwide locations - just specify this when making your reservation.

Connemara
There are no exact borders demarcating the Connemara zone, a highlight of driving tours in Ireland. The fluted coastline makes for a spectacularly scenic drive on Route 336, and there are several small towns and hamlets worth stopping off at along the way. Irish Gaelic is still spoken throughout this area.
Aran Islands
This archipelago of three islands is one of the finest attractions in Ireland. The star attraction here is Dun Aengus, which perches on a cliff about 300 feet over the Atlantic Ocean. The walls of this fort are 12 feet thick in some places, and the entire construction is thousands of years old. Many other Iron Age structures are found on the Aran Islands.
To get to the Aran Islands from Galway, drive out of town on Route 337, which joins Route 336 and continues to Rossaveel, where ferries depart for the Aran Islands.
